Humor makes you live longer
Have you ever noticed how much better you feel after a good laugh? It is a natural way get a little boost in your day, and add years onto your life. It’s a tendency for most people to get caught up in the everyday stresses of life, and forget to do something as little as laugh or even smile. As adults we have forgotten the power of humor sometimes.
You hear people talk about the carefree attitude of children, and how they don’t have a care in the world. Most of that is the effortless way children laugh, and play, and just take time to see and enjoy the things in life as adults we miss. Humor can be something as simple as a cartoon strip in a newspaper, a comedy show, or watching kids. Whatever makes you chuckle to your self, or out loud? So why is it so hard for many people? Is it because most focus on negative? The cup is half empty rather than half full theory, how sad for us as a society that laughing and humor has become so difficult. Just waking up and reading the newspaper or turning on the news is a downer. So if we can try every day to throw in a healthy dose of humor to even out the hectic world we live in. Our lives will be happier and healthier for it. And don’t we all want this? So laugh, laugh, and laugh, humor is what the world needs more of.
